About the owner: Dr. Munoz obtained a BS in Biology degree at Baylor University in Waco, TX. He then went to the University of Colorado School of Medicine in Denver and obtained his MD. Longing for Texas, he returned and completed his residency training at the UT Health Science Center San Antonio...also where Monique received her BS in Nursing. They met in the Medical Intensive Care Unit where Monique worked and the rest is history! We have 3 children who you may occasionally see "helping out" in the office.
Products and Services: Munoz Family Health Clinic is centrally located. We provide quality care at a personal level. As small business owners, we realize the high cost of health insurance can sometimes get in the way of maintaining/improving one's health. In order to minimize barriers to care, we provide a "prompt pay" discount for those who pay in full on the date of service. We also accept many commercial insurance plans, as well as Worker's Comp.
For your convenience, Saturday hours are available and appointments are NOT required. Allow us to be the base camp for all your health needs.
History: Established in March 2004 to go back to the time when you could see "your" doctor when you are feeling bad. A doc that you can call on anytime - even when the office is closed. No "stand-ins", no parking garage fees, no getting lost in big buildings and most importantly... professional staff who sincerely care about you and your health care needs!
