Owner: Clif Owen
About the owner: I was born & raised in what used to be South Austin on Ashby Lane, two blocks from Barton Springs. I entered the Marine Corps in 1989, served 3 tours in Desert Storm, then departed back to Austin in 1993. From there I began working as a mechanic @ several dealerships, and shops in the Austin area. I decided to open my own business after witnessing several instances where the customer was taken advantage of, and decided I would give people an honest alternative. I feel that we have succeded in changing the way our customers view the Auto industry.

Products and Services: We are a general service auto repair facility that can handle any repair on any type car. We have an impecable problem solving record, and do not settle for anything but a complete, and proper repair.

History: Owen's Auto Care was started by Clif Owen in 1996 with one person in a 1000 sq. ft. building, and borrowed tools. Since then we have grown to our current location with 6 employees, and a 8,000 sq. ft. building.

Locations: We have one location in North Austin. Our location is run by Robin Vaughn, she is a fun, and witty woman, that loves to visit with people. Our Service writer is Barbara Newlin, if shes not smiling then shes talking, and sometimes she can do both at once.
