History: The owners saw a need in the community for additional security measures for the prevention of identity theft on the part of their patients, and on behalf of the community in general. Their concern for the further education of the Austin community regarding federal regulations affecting all business owners (FACTA), identity theft awareness and the need to protect the environment through recycling was the driving force behind the establishment of A-Tex Shredding, Inc. formed.
